| We have a little dove that built a nest in our hanging plant on the patio. Since I don't have any other pets, I would consider this my new pet. She even has two eggs in her nest that she sits on all day. She likes me more than Matt, since she flies away whenver she sees him!  I guess I'm not quite as scary.

| There is nothing I hate and fear more than roaches. I don't know why. Especially huge ones like the one we saw last night..... Here's the story: I was in bed with a hurt back and my husband was reading to me. We looked up and saw a HUGE ROACH crawling on the ceiling right above our heads. I haven't been able to even roll over in bed without back pain, but I was about to get up and run. Instead, I hid under the covers and yelled for Matt to "get him". He got him after a few tries and a broken CD case, and then with him still alive proceeded to torture him with drowning. "Let this be a lesson to all your kind," I hear him muttering in the bathroom. Matt shares my hatred for roaches. Is there anyone else out there who shares this hatred and fear? And why? Why such nasty little creatures, and why did God decide to create them? | | |
| Matt and I got our first Christmas tree yesterday! I couldn't get over the fact that it was 80 degrees outside and we were putting up our Christmas tree. Oh well, we live in Houston so what can you do? #1 Selecting a tree from the forest o' Christmas trees

| I had a great time this past weekend and I'm still basking in the joy of it all. Not only were my parents in town for my dance performance, but it was also my birthday! For the first time we opened up the Whaley house for a party, and it sure was a fabulous party. Thanks to all my friends who came by to help celebrate! I loved seeing the old Vineyardites friends, plus getting to hang out with some new friends from my dance company. | | |
| After having long hair for most of my life, I decided, with the support of my husband and my friends, to get it all cut off. I was ready for something new and different.  
I love it! It's so fun and easy. I don't know if I'll ever go back to long hair. What do you think? Are you a fan of short hair or long?
